“Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking.” Marcus Aurelius Antoninus

Literally, most of the time I truly believe that my best quality is my ability to look on the bright side of life even when I’m hurting I am still positive! I really believe this is a gift and definitely know that it part of my magic. I have never been in such a bad situation that I ever believe that my life still isn’t beautiful, there is always someone worse off than you. Always!!! And that is something I really focus on when feeling down, who the hell am I to complain about anything when there is so many people in the truly suffering wishing their only problem was a little heartbreak. This is something that I really focus on and it keeps me not only positive but grateful too. I thought I would share some of my absolute favourite pictures from the last couple of weeks, mainly because I am super excited about life at the moment and wanted to share with you how important the little things truly are and just by taking note of these and being thankful your whole outlook on life could change!

Literally, the people in my life are truly amazing and beautiful and filled with love, I am so grateful every day for the people who have shown me the most incredible amount of love recently. I could cry every time I see these people, it has taken me the best part of 33 years to realise the real importance of female connections and I am now making up for lost time. This little beauty is one of my absolute favourite women she is as kind as she is beautiful.

“Women understand. We may share experiences, make jokes, paint pictures, and describe humiliations that mean nothing to men, but women understand. The odd thing about these deep and personal connections of women is that they often ignore barriers of age, economics, worldly experience, race, culture — all the barriers that, in male or mixed society, had seemed so difficult to cross.” — Gloria Steinem

Every now and then don’t forget to stop and smell the flowers and be thankful for the things you have at that moment.

“You’re only here for a short visit. Don’t hurry, don’t worry. And be sure to smell the flowers along the way.” Walter Hagen

By far the best thing about the sunshine is the time I get to spend with my beautiful niece in the park, she is already a little madam. She turns one at the end of the month and she already has such sassy personality she is definitely her mother’s daughter. I will be spending as much time as humanly possible with this little cutie, I literally don’t want to miss anything! There is no way on this earth to be sad when she is around!

“I think every girl needs to love herself, regardless of anything. Like if you’re having a bad day, if you don’t like your hair, if you don’t have the best family situation, whatever, you have to love yourself and you can’t do anything until you love yourself first.” Julianne Hough

The most incredible woman I know, my sister is the light of my life and by far the strongest most beautiful woman walking the earth. She returned to work a couple of months ago after 10 months of maternity and with me working miles away the time we get to spend together is super limited, which kills me because she is my best friend. A year younger than me and about ten years wiser.

“A sister is someone who loves you from the heart. No matter how much you argue you cannot be drawn apart. She is a joy that cannot be taken away. Once she enters your life, she is there to stay.”

So one of my best friends has just got a puppy, met Olly! This little boy is adorable and super soft, I was wondering if I could fit him in my handbag, this was our first meeting and I instantly fell in love. I don’t need a man I need puppies, lots of puppies!

“Whoever said you can’t buy Happiness forgot little puppies.” Gene Hill

“Behave like the flower; it blooms with its own petals without bothering to take the colour of another flower’s petals. You can excel with what you have!”  ― Israelmore Ayivor

I have been pagan for around four years now and am such a big believer in the fact nature heals everything! Like everything, there is nothing that can not be cured by stepping outside and spending some time in nature. When I cry I always go to the sea, when I am feeling a fresh start I go to the woods and when all is calm I go to flowers! I have no idea why its like I am called to these places, there has been plenty of nights I have spent sitting on beaches crying to the sea. But just recently I am going to flowers which to me is a very good sign!

“There is new life in the soil for every man. There is healing in the trees for tired minds and for our overburdened spirits, there is strength in the hills, if only we will lift up our eyes. Remember that nature is your great restorer.” Calvin Coolidge

“There is pleasure in the pathless woods, there is rapture in the lonely shore, there is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar; I love not Man the less, but Nature more.” Lord Byron

“Just imagine becoming the way you used to be as a very young child, before you understood the meaning of any word, before opinions took over your mind. The real you is loving, joyful, and free. The real you is just like a flower, just like the wind, just like the ocean, just like the sun.”  Don Miguel Ruiz
