I recently wrote a blog post for another company, I wrote it for free because I really just love writing and I never expect anything in return, I am just so incredibly happy that other people enjoy my writing. It still blows my mind that anyone even reads this little old blog, so I was super surprised when I received a thank you gift in the post. I was never expecting to write this blog post and it is not sponsored but I just loved the box so much that I wanted to share it with, I already have my eye on a couple of their other boxes for me and my family.
The box is from For a creative and you can see their full range here, I have my little eyes on the baby boxes as I have a few baby showers coming up and they look like they would make a pretty special present. I know straight away whom it was from as my box had been embossed ( I’m pretty sure that’s the right word ) with a personal message, I think this was my favourite part of the whole box because it makes it much more personal than just a thank you box. Plus the actual box itself is made to a really high standard, one of those boxes you can keep and store little bits, mine is now full of lots of photographs from blog posts.
I believe that every thing is handmade, there is definitely the feeling that everything is locally made and a little bit special. Starting with the Lemon & calendula relaxing bath salts from baysoap, I have spent hours sniffing this bottle the scent is so familiar and reminds me of something from my childhood but I just can’t remember what and its driving me crazy. I absolutely love a long hot soak in the tub and can’t be more happy about getting such lovely bath salts and the box has introduced me to a new brand which I’m very excited about trying more products from.
Chocolate is always going to be a winner in our home, now I can’t believe I’ve never heard of handmade chocolates by Kimberleys. They have been making chocolates for nearly 25 years and they taste incredible, I tried my absolute hardest not to wolf them down, and you know me, that takes amazing self-control but I didn’t want them to end.
Possibly my favourite ever scented candle, unwind dewberry & rosehip scented candle, smells exactly like what I would expect heaven to smell like. But now I’m too scared to light it because I have no idea where to get more, expect from just keep ordering more thank you boxes. Instead every time I walk past it I just pick it up and give it a really good sniff. Now I have never seen a dewberry and would have no idea what one would look like but I do know it smells yummy.
I’m a firm believer in the fact that you can never have too many notebooks, I have put these two little beauties in my handbag so I can scribble down blog ideas wherever I am.
And there you have it, isn’t it so cute and such a thoughtful way of thanking someone, the personal message on the front just makes the whole box seem that little bit extra special and now I feel like I should send a thank you box, as a thank you for the thank you, very British problems.
