“Plenty of people miss their share of happiness, not because they never found it, but because they didn’t stop to enjoy it.”
William Feather

I have so much to be happy for this week, I know I go on so much about looking for the little things in life, but if you miss the little things than you are missing out on your life. So ever time you smile or giggle just take a second to remember that feeling and what made you feel like that, then fill your life with it.

I never want Autumn to end, when I saw this tree it made me think of a rainbow and it made me smile from ear to ear. Happiness is definitely about the little moments that make you smile, to most it’s just a tree but to me it’s beautiful, it’s a little moment when I stopped took note of our beautiful world and smiled and that’s happiness. I have been taking in as much as Autumn as humanly possible, take a peek at my 50 shades of Autumn .

Probably one of my favourite days out this Autumn was spending the afternoon at Little Morton hall and walking through their Autumn lights exhibition. It was so pretty and like stepping into a rainbow, a beautiful rainbow that you get to touch. You can check out all the pettiness here.

Me and my sister work totally absolute shifts so we hardly get any time together expect the occasional brew before or after work so when we found that we had the same evening off we made the most of it with dinner and a trip to the cinema. We have both just finished reading The girl on the train so decided that would be a good choice ( if you haven’t seen it yet, wait for the DVD, one of the worst book to film movie I have seen ). Naturally when you go the cinema you have to top up on snacks, my favourite being ice cream of course. I can’t wait to spend more time with my sister.

After being poorly for nearly a month I was staring to feel gross so as soon as I was well enough to leave my house I headed straight to my favourite beauty parlour for some me time. I got waxed to within a inch of my life, pedicure and manicure and left feeling like myself again. Sometimes you just need a little pamper session, I notice when I feel good in my own skin I smile a lot more and walk taller.

Happiness is having a big woolly squirrel jumper!

I absolutely love how much British Halloween is becoming more and more like Halloween in America, the latest arrival from over the pond which I’m loving is pumpkin patches. When I was kid a Halloween costume was a black bin bag and if you knocked on strangers doors they would yell at you that we aren’t American. Now I get to spend October looking for the perfect pumpkin and running around maize mazes.

Jamie surprised me with flowers, I absolutely love flowers apparently they were just to cheer me up being poorly ( will have to get poorly more often ).

Can you believe only six months ago I knew nothing at all about make up now I use all this on my face everyday ( granted it might not be perfect but I know where it’s meant to go ). My self confidence is getting better and better everyday and that’s because im feeling more and more confident in my own skin. Now that my self doubting is getting less and less im feeling much happier day to day.

Nothing in this world brings me more happiness than Dave, he’s my best friend in the whole wide world and I always have a smile on my face when he’s around. There is no hardship, sadness or bad day when your coming home to this face and his kisses.

What’s made you happy recently?
