June’s happy little things

“Too often in life, something happens and we blame other people for us not being happy or satisfied or fulfilled. So the point is, we all have choices, and we make the choice to accept people or situations or to not accept situations. ” Tom Brady

I’m so a firm believer in finding happiness in everyday life, in a world were we are always waiting for the weekend, summer, holidays or some miracle that will apparently make all our problems disappear. We should stop and look for smaller joys, those little moments in the everyday life that make us stop, smile or even giggle. Here is a little happiness from each day through the first half of June.

Oh my goodness just how incredibly cute do these biscuits look, and believe me they tasted even yummier. The latest monthly box on the scene comes from Chocolate baby uk and each month is themed differently. Most importantly they are not a subscription box so you can choose whether or not you want every box but when their creations are this cute why wouldn’t you. I’m already desperately excited for Julys box, imagine a five year old let loose in a sweet shop and that’s how I get over their chocolates.

The British seaside during summer is possibly one of my favourite places to be. The sounds of the funfair and the smells of fresh hot doughnuts takes me back to my childhood and makes me act like a giddy six year old ready to spend her pennies on hook a duck.

Time with Sarah made me so happy she is so incredibly busy but we managed to get a few days together at the start of the month and have a epic catch up. We have one of those perfect friendships that never changes despite how long we are apart.

Pink sparkle cake that looks fit for a princess, enough said!

As much as I love cake and ice cream ( and you know that its a lot ) I love eating healthy clean food just as much, I have only had one cold in the last year ( everyone at work was constantly sniffing all winter ) and I absolutely put me staying well down to the amount of fruit and vegetables in my diet, I don’t take any vitamins instead choosing to get everything I need from food.

My little box is my absolute favourite subscription box, I know it usually comes at the start of the month but I never know exactly which makes it a lovely surprise to myself every month, perfect to come home to after a long boring day at work.

Me and Jamie have had a lot of time together during June, as much as I love our time together I know it wouldn’t be as much fun if we didn’t spend so much time apart.

Gym time always makes me feel better, no matter what mood I enter the gym in I always leave feeling a million times better and ready to concur the world.

Hiking and being in the fresh air after what seems like the longest winter known to man! Fresh air and some sunshine is an instant mood booster.

Look how happy I am stood next to Minnie mouse ( and its not even the real Minnie )

I love photographing food ( thinks it because I get to play with food ). My degree is in photography and I have always loved photographing food and still life. For me it’s so much more fun than photographing people.

Llandudno is definitely my home away from home at the moment and I managed to spend some time their with Jamie’s mum, I love spending time with her as I don’t see my mother at all and haven’t for a great many years. Jamie’s mum is so amazing to me and looks after me like I’m her child which makes her perfect to me.

What little happy moments have you had this month?
