I absolutely adore my life and wouldn’t change a single part of it but after 5.00AM starts all week, gym sessions, blogging, work, animals and general house chores by Sunday I’m absolutely exhausted and getting everything ready for the next week of madness. So I decided I would take a couple of hours every Sunday to look after my mental health and have a little self care, you can read more here.
One of my favourite ways to self care is lighting my favourite candle ( this is a rhubarb and rose candle I found last year and literally bought 20 of them) you can find it here. And having some chocolate while enjoying a little pamper session at home.
First things first the bath, I am obsessed with this Imperial leather Apple and pear shower gel, it smells delicious. I always use a bath bomb and bubble bath together, I love how bath bombs make your skin super soft but I miss the bubbles of bubble bath. I have eczema so there are a lot of products I can’t use but this are perfectly fine.
Baby oil is my new favourite thing, after a hot bath I cover myself it and it leaves my skin super soft. I absolutely hate washing my hair luckily for me it only needs washing once every two weeks so when I do wash it I use John Frieda, sheer blonde shampoo. After my bath I put on a face mask and paint my toe nails, I’m a little obsessed with Barry M nail paint.
I use coconut oil for everything from face cream to cooking and at the moment I am using it as a conditioner, I cover my hair in a thick layer of it put on a shower cap and sleep with it on my hair, washing it again in the morning. I have to tell you about the fresh sweet raspberry body mist a bargain at £3 from asda you can find it here. Before I put my Pjs on I cover myself in it, it smells like heaven and stays on you all day.
Feeling extremely relaxed and happy my batteries feeling recharged and my mind relaxed enough to slip into a long deep sleep.
