Thank goodness for habit because this week there has been zero motivation! I have spent the whole week exhausted, walking around like a zombie but I didn’t miss a single gym session. When it comes to getting to the gym I now seem to just work on auto pilot. I am definitely looking forward to a rest day and a lot of early nights.
Glorious, glorious exercise!
This week has been extremely hard, I didn’t push myself like I normally would but at the same time I didn’t do any less then the week before. So the week wasn’t a total loss. This week I managed four spin classes, a hiit class, yoga and aqua fit classes as well weight training. For the first time in my life I tried running ( think phones in friends ) oh my goodness it is hard. I only managed one mile but I definitely want to keep trying and pushing myself, I would love to be able to run a 5k this summer. I have also signed up for a 13 mile midnight walk in July which I’m really excited about. I really hope my motivation comes back soon.
And as always I have been walking Dave lots and lots to keep us both fit and happy. After spending what feels like a week living in the gym I love being outside and enjoying the fresh air, it’s a perfect way to mix up my exercise routine.
Unfortunately my lack of motivation has continued over to my diet too, I have really tried tho but I have had a couple of hiccups. Yummy hiccups tho! And with the way I have been feeling ( think pac man let loose in a kitchen ) it could have been a lot worse. And despite my extra treats I have lost two pounds this week, although because of the extra sugar I have had a couple of headaches. I need to cut back on the sugar a bit.
Goals for next week!
1. Cake free week ( much needed ).
2. Eat less fruit and more vegetables.
3. Try a new exercise class.
4. Try and run a little more.
5. KEEP GOING, DON’T GIVE UP!!!!!
I definitely have mixed emotions about this week, I know I have tried my hardest in what has been a long awful week but at the same time I’m a little disappointed with myself for not doing more. Although I didn’t turn far I’m super proud of myself for trying. I’m really hoping my motivation returns for the next week, it’s already march and I want to be a lot fitter for summer. I have signed up to do a 13 mile charity walk in July as well as a 5k run so I really need the extra motivation.
