There are so many little thing’s that I’m loving right now and wanted to share with you that aren’t necessarily a whole blog post so I thought I’d share some of them here with you.
Drinking // Green tea, I am obsessed with flavoured green teas at the moment even tho I don’t like most flavoured teas. My favourite is the PG tips raspberry green tea which I’m drinking non stop and it smells incredible.
Reading // I am definitely a book whore, for every book I read I buy five new ones. I have literally just started reading The miniaturist by Jessie Burton and I’m really enjoying it, I’m not sure what I thought it would be about or how it would be written but it’s nothing like I expected. I normally spend about an hour reading before bed or in the bath it really relaxes me and helps me sleep better. ( once I have finished the book I will let you know how it was ). Next I will be reading Paper towns by John Green which I’m really excited about.
Watching // I can’t tell you how excited I am for a new series of The X files, in fact it’s the only tv series that makes me put my phone down. Growing up I was slightly obsessed with the show, I thought it was absolutely wonderful. Now when I heard that after 13 years they were going to start remaking it again I was expecting some awful quick money making rubbish but in fact it is brilliant and incredibly smart. I’m a very happy girl once more.
Starting // A YouTube channel, at the moment I’m working on making some vlogs which are mainly me and Jamie just rambling on about problems for 30 something couples. I’m excited and extremely nervous about is, I’m incredibly nervous that I will just look stupid so please cross your fingers for me.
Enjoying // Country walks with Dave, we have been extremely lucky with a mild winter ( I don’t so much hate cold just cold and raining ). I love pulling my wellies on and jumping in the mud with him and with it being a little chilly we seem to be the only two soles walking along the country lanes which makes it extremely peaceful.
Eating // Fish and lots of it! After going 30 years without really eating it I’m making up for it now. I am eating mackerel, salmon, seabass, salmon and haddock and loving it.
Feeling // Very tired, I don’t know about you but January always leaves me feeling a little deflated, all the excitement of Christmas is over, there’s no pretty fairy lights left and these dark evening no long feel magical. I can’t wait for winter to be over so I can stay awake past 8pm, sit in my garden and feel the sun on my face.
Loving // My nails, they have become a bit of an obsession of mine ( I would rather cut my hair then nails ). I am absolutely loving having the underside of my nails painted, so many people have stopped me to look at them. Next I’m trying hidden nail art on them.
Planning // If you asked me this time last year if I would ever consider having my main holiday in Britain I would have fallen to the ground laughing. I spent a lot of my twenties traveling the world and still have a list as long as my arm of places I want to visit. But then I fell in love with a man and his dog and now am planning a summer holiday to Wales and I’m seriously excited about it. I’m excited about ice cream on the sea front, fish and chips and arcades but most importantly I’m looking forward to having our beautiful border collie Dave with us.
Needing // I’m in desperate need of a full nights sleep with a lay in and breakfast in bed. I love my crazy furry family but once one of them wakes up they all wake up. And with the gym I’m up six mornings a week at 5.00am. I would love to wake up after 8.00am just once.
