175g Lightly salted butter
175g Caster sugar
Finely grated zest of one orange
200g Self raising flour
3 Large eggs
50g Ground almonds
50g Milk chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 170c/gas mark 3, grease and line a 900g loaf tin.
Beat the sugar and butter together until light and fluffy.
Beat in the Orange zest, then add the eggs one at a time. Sift in the flour and fold together.
Fold in the ground almonds, chocolate chips and marmalade with a metal spoon. Once mixed, spoon into your prepared tin and place in the oven.
Bake in the oven for 50 minutes or until a skewer can be placed into the middle and come out clean. If your cake looks as if it’s browning to quick cover the top in tin foil and continue to bake.
