Part two of all the wonderful little things that made me happy in September, you can have a peek at part one here http://emmashappylittleworld.com/2015/09/30/septembers-happy-little-things/ . And remember it only takes a tiny little thing every day to change your world.
13. Lay ins with a cup of tea and a book, there’s something that feels so indulgent about waking up and reaching for a book and what better way to start your day then visiting your favourite characters and places.
14. Autumn is by far my favourite time of year, I get super excited when the leaves start changing colours, it marks the start of cosy jumpers, bonfires, dark nights, hot chocolate and all of those wonderful holidays like Halloween and Christmas.
15. My wellies, I’ve now done two full months living in them, I’m starting to think my wellie collection is going to end up larger than my heel collection. I have to admit tho my inner five year old is very happy even if I’m getting some funny looks.
16. Baking is soooo relaxing for me, however it’s not as relaxing as eating it. I’m going to turn into a cake at this rate.
18 Dave is my best friend he is adorable and makes me happy no matter how bad my day has been. I mean how could you possibly be sad around a face like that!
19 Smoothies make me happy because I become super pleased with myself for getting enough fruit and vegetables into my day, plus they are super yummy.
20 When it’s comes to the seaside my inner kid bursts out, if it lights up or makes noise I want it, in fact I’ve never been to a seaside town and not reverted back to my ten year old self. But what’s the point of being a adult if you can’t be a little childish now and again.
22 I’m incredibly blessed with the amount of time I get to spend outdoors, and am a firm believer in sea air being good for the soul. So any time I get to spend at the beach makes me happy.
23 There are so many quotes floating around on social media that you are bound to see one that relates to you, and maybe one that puts a little bounce in your step or a smile on your face.
24 There is something liberating about being stood up high on a hill and just breathing.
25 Something about funfairs instantly takes me back to my childhood, there’s something intoxicating about the lights, noises and smells that just makes me smile from ear to ear. Not to mention the fact that there’s always doughnuts and my tummy always needs doughnuts.
26 Whenever I see mushrooms growing wild I now think about my lovely summer in America and all the mushrooms I picked and ate there, have a peek at my mushroom post here http://emmashappylittleworld.com/2015/07/07/forest-floor-to-dinner-plate/
27 Although most days I eat cake for breakfast sometimes I try and be healthy with wholemeal toast, avocado and eggs which makes me feel a grown up that has her life together.
28 Ice cream, enough said!
29 I adore how much history we have here in Britain, you don’t have to go far from your house before you see a castle, stately home or beautiful gardens. I visited Arley hall this month on a rare beautiful day and enjoyed tea and cake on the lawn of this beautiful house, such a lovely way to spend a afternoon.
30 Indian summer, the weather during September has been beautiful, specially during the last week with having such a cold summer a warm week was a lovely surprise and luckily I am taking time of work to enjoy it.
