These brownies are little gooey squares of absolute heaven and best of all you can add your favourite chocolate.
185g Unsalted butter
185g Dark chocolate
85g Plain flour
40g Cocoa powder
150g Your favourite treats ( I used maltesers, rolos, kinder bueno and marshmallows )
3 Large eggs
275g Golden caster sugar
Cut the unsalted butter and dark chocolate into small pieces and add to a medium heat proof bowl. Fill a small pan about a quarter full with hot water and sit the bowl onto of the rim, make sure the water isn’t touching the bowl. Put over a low heat until butter and chocolate is melted then remove bowl from pan.
Preheat the oven to fan 160c conventional 180c or gas mark 4. Line a 20cm square baking tin with baking parchment.
Using another bowl sieve together the plain flour and cocoa powder.
Pour the cooled chocolate mixture over the eggy mousse, then gently fold together with a spatula. Once mixed fold the flour and cocoa mixture into the mix. Do this gently as you don’t want to add air to the mixture.
