Bryson city

Bryson city is a little far out from where I’m staying but I was told it would be worth the drive and it certainly was.

bryson_citySituated in the Great Smokey mountains, Bryson city is a cute little town boasting cool little cafes and enough art galleries to cater for anybody’s taste.

WP_20150723_6859The town was built around the Great Smokey mountains railroads and still runs daily excursions through the mountains.

WP_20150723_2112The town is littered with train carriages, the Brit in me was super excited to see them. I still can’t believe in a country this big with hundreds of miles of abandoned railroads no one has thought to improve public transportation. If it wasn’t for me having access to a car I would have been stuck in the house.

WP_20150723_4714Even the tourist office is beautiful here, I enjoyed sitting in a rocking chair watching the world go by with a ice cream, England is seriously lacking porches.

6tag_210715-211924Supercow ice cream, how pretty is this? All vanilla but in my favourite colours.

WP_20150723_4083Flowers lined the streets, giving the air a beautiful sweet smell.

This pretty river runs through the middle of the town, the area truly is beautiful and definitely worth the drive.WP_20150723_7886I’m tickled pink you came.
